AEHM: AMELIA EARHART HANGER MUSEUM

The Amelia Earhart Hangar Museum honors Earhart’s aviation legacy and inspires all generations in the pursuit of flight. AEHM –is a tech-focused, educational and inspirational exhibit inside the Amelia Earhart Memorial Airport (K59). Visitors of all ages are invited to explore Amelia’s remarkable story while immersing themselves into the nostalgic Art Deco era and early years of flight.

 

Scientifically accurate illustrations and portraits line the walls of the exhibit to aid in education and inspiring visitors. The Careers project invites visitors to visualize themselves in various historical professions and step in front of a gesture-reactive screen. Then, a digital image of their face is overlaid on a lifelike avatar.
